  • Detailed introduction
Dw541-pf/pt-poe switch provides simultaneous transmission of data and power from a network node using category 5 and above network cables. Its port is used for 10/100mbps connection, in which Poe port can also provide ieee802.3af/at standard power supply. Through detection, only 802.3af/at terminal devices are powered after classification, and there is no need to worry about damaging Poe or non Poe devices of private standards. A single Poe port provides up to 30W of power. When the AC power supply is unable to supply power or it is inconvenient to obtain power (such as high-end PTZ cameras and WiMAX devices), dw541 series is designed for wireless networks and security automation applications. With a compact and flexible design, dw541 series is an ideal choice for small commercial networks that want to use Poe to deploy wireless access points (APS) and IP based network surveillance cameras economically. Dw541 series switches greatly reduce the power wiring costs that users, wireless LAN access points, video surveillance cameras and other equipment must spend, and better support new services and applications, thus providing users with higher flexibility and mobility.
 
Advanced self sensing algorithms only supply power to standard PD terminal devices, so there is no need to worry about damaging private standard Poe or non Poe devices. In addition, when the POE device is not connected, it will stop power supply. Simple and reliable design, dw541 series automatically identifies Poe requirements, speed, duplex and network cable types using auto uplinktm.
